Intro Blackened For Whom the Bell Tolls Welcome Home (Sanitarium) The Four Horsemen Harvester of Sorrrow Eye of the Beholder Jason's solo > To Live Is to Die jam Master of Puppets One Seek and Destroy ...And Justice for All Creeping Death Fade to Black (cut) Kirk's solo > Little Wing jam Battery > Prowler > Run to the Hills > Helpless jams Last Caress Am I Evil? Whiplash (cut) QUALITY: Not a bad recording, not a great recording either. The vocals come across okay, but the guitars are kind of mashed together with the drums. Not really distorted, but not clear either. No annoying crowd near the taper so that's nice. SOURCE: Unknown mic > Unknown recorder TIME: 120 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says "Thank you Newport" after Battery. FLAWS: Several minor drop outs, probably due to tape flips. Fade to Black is cut as is Whiplash. BAND PERFORMANCE: Great performance by the band, pretty straight ahead and in your face. A little joking around with Seek, but certainly the first half of the show is a serious kick your ass performance. Not that the second half is bad, it just takes on a looser feel. No real jam between Justice and Creeping - the guys just screw around.
