Damage, Inc. Blitzkrieg QUALITY: Pretty average recording quality wise. Very little crowd noise which is nice. The taper must have been near the speaker stacks. As with most Justice tour shows, this one also suffers from too much high end and a slight layer of distortion. There is actually pretty good separation on the guitars though, they come across pretty well. Vocals are fairly decent as well. There are certainly better '88/'89 shows out there, but this one is fairly uncirculated. SOURCE: Unknown audience analog MASTERED: Converted to cd by me using an unknown generation tape. TIME: 115 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says "Scanning the scene in Edinburgh tonight" FLAWS: A dropout during Eye of the Beholder. Sound quality acutally drops in quality from this point on. A couple of dropouts due to tape flips when converting to cd. BAND PERFORMANCE: Nothing too crazy with this performance. Still early on in the Justice tour, so the performance is pretty stiff compared to the summer '89 shows. They definitely gained their stride by the time the tour hit the US though. First night in Edinburgh, funny that they played the extra song the first night verses the second night which has become the standard for Metallica.
