Intro Battery Master of Puppets Harvester of Sorrow Welcome Home(Sanitarium) > Crazy Train teaser For Whom the Bell Tolls Frantic Sad but True St. Anger No Remorse w/ Dyers Eve Seek and Destroy Blackened Fuel Nothing Else matters Creeping Death One Enter Sandman AUDIO QUALITY: I would say it's a pretty decent listen overall. It is a tad distant, so the crowd is a little loud in between songs. In addition there is wind noise that hits the mics that is noticeable between songs as well. However, the music and vocals come across nicely, and you can tell Metallica is happy to be playing in LA, and that LA is happy to be seeing Metallica. It's quite possible that the taper cut the final "thank yous" from the band. The show ends with James saying his thanks right after Sandman. Usually, Lars would say something as well as Kirk. Not sure why the taper didn't keep rolling. SOURCE: Sound Professionals Stealth Cardoids > Bass Filter (107hz) > Sharp MD-SR60 DVD QUALITY: Shot from the back, but the zoom is pretty good, so you can see a lot of what is going on stage. Overall a nice capture SOURCE: WVMonster TRANSFER: MASTER > 2DVD TIME: 128 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says LA a lot throughout the show. FLAWS: None, however this show was sent to me with track transition problems (clicks). I have run this show through Goldwave, cleaned up the bad track marks, and retracked it. It's nice and smooth now. I do have the original source if you would prefer the clicks. BAND PERFORMANCE: Band performance is really good, as I said before they seem pretty excited to play LA. The Coliseium is huge, so I'm sure there were a lot of people there. Funny moment is when James is saying thanks to all of the bands. When he says thanks to Limp Biskit, the crowd clearly boos. He replys "That's certainly up to you." Also a little teaser of Ozzy's Crazy Train right before Bells that's pretty funny.
