Intro Blackened For Whom the Bell Tolls Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Harvester of Sorrow The Four Horsemen Jason's solo > To Live Is to Die jam Master of Puppets Fade to Black Seek and Destroy w/ Twist of Cain ...And Justice for All One Creeping Death Kirk's solo > Little Wing jam Battery Last Caress Am I Evil? Whiplash QUALITY: Overall pretty nice quality for this recording. The music is pretty up front with some good instrument separation. Very little crowd noise. Vocals come across clean, and there isn't any distortion on the recording. SOURCE: Unknown mic > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > Adobe Audigy Platinum > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me) TIME: 120 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Most likely. James does not say the city name here. Right before Seek and Destroy James says something to the effect that Jason pointed out all of the people sitting on the sides. He goes on to say that you can sit down at your grandma's house, and that it must be the free tickets. The setlist matches the August shows, and James mentions it's summer and beer drinking weather. This doesn't match any other show that I've reviewed. FLAWS: a few minor cuts for tape flips, nothing significant is missing. BAND PERFORMANCE: Great performance tonight, Master, Fade, and Seek all sound really tight. Something strange about this show, there are no teaser jams other than the Twist of Cain during Seek. Typically there are several teaser jams before Last Caress etc. Maybe the band was under curfew pressure and didn't have time to joke around.
