> The Small Hours jam So What? Creeping Death Sad but True Ain't My Bitch Whiplash Fade to Black King Nothing One Until It Sleeps For Whom the Bell Tolls Wherever I May Roam > Bleeding Me teaser Nothing Else Matters Enter Sandman > Detroit Rock City jam Last Caress Master of Puppets Overkill QUALITY: Very little crowd noise near the taper on this one, but it is distant and slightly muffled. I'd call it average to slightly below average. SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > Adobe Audigy Platnium > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me) TIME: 96 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Like most of the Lollapalooza shows, James never says the city name. Right before Sad But True, he comments about how great it is to be enjoying a show out in the good ole' USofA. FLAWS: None BAND PERFORMANCE: Interesting side story on the pro-USA comment from James. Typically James would not be patriotic or political, however according to some people who were backstage, James was pretty upset at Rage Against the Machine's anti-American comments during their set. I guess having the freedom to make a bunch of money in a country you are bashing didn't sit well with him. Can't say I disagree with him either. At any rate, good show, and a nice performance.
