There is a thin layer of distortion on the bass drums. The Sankens are great mics, but they don't have the SPL's to handle the big bass. As an owner of Sankens, I know. But overall, this is by far the best recording to surface from this show. Very little crowd noise, which makes for a very nice listen. Typically these festival recordings are full of cheering drunk crowd members. Not the case with this recording. Nicely done. SOURCE: Sanken COS 11s RM > D100 TIME: 146 minutes TAPER: M.Y. DVD QUALITY: Shot from the pit, so as you would expect it's shaky at times with a fair amount of obstructions. However, you do get some really nice shots when the crowd settles down. Definitely a fun one to watch. SOURCE: Sepu / Invaders TRANSFER: JVC GZ-MG70 > MASTER > 3DVD TIME: 140 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says Oslo quite a few times. FLAWS: None BAND PERFORMANCE: Great performance, kind of a mixed setlist of new and old. I swear that James says "Stockholm" during No Leaf Clover, then at the end of Clover he says it's good to see our friends in Oslo Norway...haha. At any rate, this is an enjoyable recording to listen to. Orion is great as always as is Justice.
