Am I Evil (cut)

AUDIO QUALITY: Well, for 1983 this is pretty good. James vocals comes across very well. The guitars
sound pretty good as well. The drums and bass kind of blend into this thumping mess, but overall
it's still very listenable.

SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder
TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > USB SoundBlaster HD > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me)
TIME: 45 minutes
CORRECT SHOW: Not 100% certain, though I am certain that it's either the 4/22 or 4/24 show. I believe this is
the 4/22 show because before Phantom Lord James introduces Kirk. "Some of you who have seen us before, may see a
change on this side. New guitarist, flew in from California, just a few nights ago. Mr. Kirk Hammett."
He doesn't do the introduction on the 4/24 show. Seems like it would make sense to have that type of intro
on the first of two nights.

FLAWS: Am I Evil is cut, only about 30 seconds are on this recording...

BAND PERFORMANCE: Fast, furious, aggressive, everything you'd expect from an early Metallica show. You can't
even tell that Kirk's been with band only a week or so, just sounds like he's been there all along. I can't
even imagine what it was like to see these two nights...whew!
