Intro Blackened Fuel Ride the Lightning Kirk's solo #1 Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Frantic Leper Messiah I Disappear St. Anger Sad but True Creeping Death Battery No Leaf Clover Melbourne Nothing Else Matters Master of Puppets One Enter Sandman >The Frayed End of Sanity > Run to the Hills jam The Wait Dyers Eve DVD QUALITY: Wow - what a great video. The closeups aren't amazing, but they're nice. The colors on this video are what really stand out. The colors in this video are so vibrant. It's a nice change from some of the washed out videos I've been watching recently. Camera work is nearly flawless - a few shakes as the taper tries to avoid the occasional hand. Hardly worth mentioning. The audio is from LiveMetallica so what you have is a nicely done overall package - that probably everyone already has at this point. The taper does tend to film James a lot more than anyone else, so if you are a James fan, you'll like this video. SOURCE: NY Shows TRANSFER: MASTER > 2DVD TIME: 120 minutes FLAWS: None CORRECT SHOW: Yes, Long Island is said a few times. Few references to 2nd night. BAND PERFORMANCE: Metallica as usual has their A-game on for the New York area shows. Great setlist - Ride, Leper, The Wait and of course Dyers Eve. Band seems to be in good spirits, a lot of smiles. Crowd seems to be enjoying it as well. James dedicates Nothing Else Matters to their "friends at Elektra, R.I.P". It appears that Elektra was swallowed up in coporate mergers and at the time of early 2004 it was unclear if there would be any future Elektra releases.![]()
