Intro Fight Fire With Fire Ride the Lighting Phantom Lord The Four Horsemen Cliff's solo For Whom the Bell Tolls No Remorse Fade to Black Seek and Destroy Whiplash Creeping Death Kirk's solo Am I Evil? Motorbreath QUALITY: Not bad overall. I would say average quality. I was able to clean it up significantly, but it's still rough around the edges. The biggest problem with this audience was it was so low. I was able to increase the loudness of the recording, and that helped significantly. There is a layer of high level distortion on the guitars, not bad, but it sounds like the band was too loud for the venue or something. SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > Creative Soundblaster Audigy Platinum > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me) TIME: 60 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes. After Ride the Lightning, Cliff and James say: Cliff: "Thank you Frisco, good to be home." James: "Well it's great to be back with the real freaks in the bay area." FLAWS: Cut between Fade and Seek for tape flip. BAND PERFORMANCE: Awesome performance as expected. No Remorse stands out in particular. Just brutal. Obviously the guys were excited to be home again, doing two nights at home. I can only imagine the after parties. These audience recordings haven't circulated too much. Most people grab the sbd release of 3/15 and call it good. Well worth adding to the collection in my opinion. Previously I had thought the soundboard release was a combo of two nights, but upon further review this is not the case. Sorry if I mixed anyone up on that.
