Intro Fight Fire With Fire Ride the Lighting Phantom Lord Cliff's solo For Whom the Bell Tolls No Remorse Fade to Black Seek and Destroy Whiplash Creeping Death Am I Evil? Motorbreath QUALITY: Really pretty good recording considering it's 1985. There is one annoying fan near the taper that goes "YEA" a lot. Otherwise, the recording is pretty good - decent instrument separation. James vocals come across very well. The music is pretty up front. Like I said, it's a decent listen and should be in your collection. SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > Creative Soundblaster Audigy Platinum > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me) TIME: 65 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes. LA is said a few times. FLAWS: none BAND PERFORMANCE: Great performance of course. You can tell the band is happy to be crushing LA in 1985 after they left it in 1982 partly due to the lack of support. 3 years later a different story. James' makes a comment about how he's heard the crowds in LA have gotten a lot better. Definitely some Metallica fans in the crowd tonight. Goes without saying that this recording should be in your collection - great show.
