Intro Battery Master of Puppets For Whom the Bell Tolls Welcome Home(Sanitarium) Ride the Lightning Jason's Solo Whiplash Thing That Should Not Be Fade to Black Seek and Destroy Creeping Death > NIB > Running Free jams The Four Horsemen Kirk's Solo > Munsters theme Am I Evil? Damage, Inc. Fight Fire With Fire QUALITY: Not a bad sounding recording for '87. There is some tape hiss associated with it of course, but overall it's a pretty decent listen SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > USB SoundBlaster HD > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV > FLAC (transferred by me) TIME: 85 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Unknown, as it's difficult to understand what James says right before Master. During the '86-'87 tour, he would typically say the city name. Right before Bells, he does say "One of those drinking nights I think". James also makes a comment before Seek and Destroy about a girl with a really big mouth. I won't finish what he says :-). I'm fairly certain that this is the correct show, as most of the European '87 shows James says the city name. FLAWS: Small dropout between Sanitarium and Lightning. Fade to Black is split between side A and B. Also the beginning of Fight Fire with Fire is slightly cut. BAND PERFORMANCE: Overall very nice performance, in '87 they were still playing songs at break neck speed. Still introducing Jason as the "new guy". James seems to have a casual attitude, and jokes with the crowd quite a bit - see comment before Seek and Destroy. Headlining tour, with Metal Church as openers.
