Intro Blackened For Whom the Bell Tolls Welcome Home (Sanitarium) The Four Horsemen Harvester of Sorrow Eye of the Beholder Jason's solo > To Live Is to Die jam Master of Puppets One Seek and Destroy ...And Justice for All > How Many More Times jam Creeping Death Fade to Black Kirk's solo > Little Wing jam Battery > La Bamba > Run to the Hills > Helpless jams Last Caress Am I Evil? Whiplash Breadfan QUALITY: Certainly not the greatest '88 recording by any means. The recording has a layer of distortion and the sound is all kind of mashed together. Vocals are fairly clear, but everything else is pretty muddy. Probably something best left for collectors in the end. SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: 1st gen cassette > CDR TIME: 120 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes. James says "Long Beach you still alive out there? I can't here you." before Jason's solo. He also says "not sure how many of you were here last night" before the Four Horsemen. BAND PERFORMANCE: Seems to be a pretty solid performance. Hard to really tell specifics due to the recording. Metallica and California shows are historically really good - and I imagine this show is no different. Crowd was a little less rowdy, though they start to throw seat cushions at the end. James says to not get that started again, since last night was out of control.
