Battery > Jump in the Fire > Escape jams Stone Cold Crazy AUDIO QUALITY: Upgrade from the master version, so that's always nice. A few drunk idiots can be heard calling out their favorite Kill'em all songs during the more quiet parts of the show. A fair amount of high end - probably reflective of the stock mic in the D3. SOURCE: Sony D3 cassette w/stock mic TRANSFER: Master TDK SA 90 cassettes > Tascam 202MKV > Edirol R09 (16/44) > Adobe Audition 5.5 (level boost/hiss reduction) > CD Waveditor (track) > flac8 TAPER: Koondog (a/k/a RushFan) TRANSFER: Smores TIME: 153 minutes VIDEO QUALITY: Pretty decent, shot from the tapers section. While it's tripod shot, the camera does shake with the drums. A mix of stage shot and screen shot. It's a bit dark as well. The audio sounds better here than it does on the Audio, but there is still a lot of chatter around the taper. SOURCE: 1st Gen > 3DVD VERSION: Sabkisscrue/Norbinho CORRECT SHOW: Yes, Lars says Nassau we'll see you tomorrow and Friday. Jason also says Nassau during Seek. FLAWS: Most of Jason's bass speech is missing for tape flip. The DVD starts mid-way through Creeping Death, so we're missing the intro and Enter. BAND PERFORMANCE: Seems like a decent performance, for some reason the crowd seems really lame. James yells for the crowd to wake up several times. Jason asks at one point why everyone is sitting down. Seems like a really streamlined show. There isn't much banter between songs. Even Lars' drum solo and Kirk's solo seems shorter than normal. Crowd does seem to wake up in the last 2/3 of the show. No Four Horsemen tonight, but they do Stone Cold Crazy to mix it up for the 3 night run in Uniondale.
