Intro Fight Fire With Fire Fuel Leper Messiah Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Frantic Sad but True The Unnamed Feeling Creeping Death St. Anger Master of Puppets Blackened Harvester of Sorrow Nothing Else Matters One Seek and Destroy Enter Sandman Blitzkrieg Damage, Inc. QUALITY: While I had my hopes up for a repeat of the Japan 1998 shows sound quality, the 2003 Japan shows fall a bit short from the '98 ones. With that being said, they are still very listenable. On this particular one there is a slight layer of distortion on the recording. Similiar to the 11/06 show, Still very listenable mind you. I think anyone would enjoy this show, especially with the debut of The Unnamed Feeling Update: Second source is much better, in fact it's probably the best 2003 show in my opinion. Very little crowd noise, lows and highs are nicely mixed. The bass has nice kick to it. Just an all around fantastic recording. SOURCE: Unknown (1st gen from Silver cds), most likely the same taper as the other Tokyo '03 shows. SOURCE 2: SANKEN COS11s-pt-rm > M1 TIME: 130 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Yes James says Tokyo a lot, and the setlist matches the third night. FLAWS: None BAND PERFORMANCE: Obviously the highlight of this show is the debut of The Unnamed Feeling. It comes off pretty good I think, starts off really strong. Then at the end it kind of falls apart. It almost seems like they hadn't worked out the finish, or maybe the album finish doesn't work live. VERY nice to see a different setlist - Leper Messiah, Fight Fire, Blitzkrieg, and Damage Inc make this one to have, even beyond the debut of Unnamed Feeling. Metallica sounds really good this night, and seem to be really into the crowd and the crowd really into them. Overall a good show to have.
