For Whom the Bell Tolls No Remorse Call of Ktulu Seek and Destroy Whiplash Creeping Death QUALITY: Definitely below average quality recording. It's pretty muffled, everything just blends together. I would say pass on this show unless you are a collector and need everything. There are certainly better shows to get from 1985. SOURCE: unknown mics > unknown recorder TRANSFER: unknown gen cassette > Creative Soundblaster Audigy Platinum > Goldwave > CDWAVE > WAV (transferred by me) TIME: 40 minutes CORRECT SHOW: Not sure. James never says the city name on the piece that was recorded. He does dedicate whiplash to "White Fi Lee (?)" Apparently he's got Whiplash. Most of the old tape traders all have this show as Columbus, so I'll continue to mark this as Columbus unless facts prove otherwise. FLAWS: none BAND PERFORMANCE: Great performance for what's recorded. Blistering speed, no holds barred for sure. Too bad the entire show wasn't recorded - or at least circulated. Not much more to say, as I stated above unless you are a collector and want everything you can probably pass on this show.
