I recently got 12 upgrades direct from the master from the taper Haki Reumont. I'll be reviewing all 12 shows over the next few weeks. This particular show is a significant upgrade to the CD and Record bootlegs that I have. Those weren't even complete. Here is the complete show direct from the master. That being said, there is no tape hiss. The music is a little muffled, but no distortion to speak of. The crowd around the taper is pretty loud though. Essen was very happy to be having Metallica play tonight. All in all, a really nice upgrade. FLAWS: None BAND PERFORMANCE: Wow, on fire tonight. The crowd is singing along just about every song. The band loves it, the crowd loves it. Just a great show overall in Essen. Every song is really played fast with a lot of intensity. They definitely crushed this night. They really embrace the jams tonight, with a really extended version of Retun of the Vampire.
