MP4 QUALITY: Metallica Monday broadcast. Great quality, really good close-ups.
Cool to see a show from this tour so close and pro-shot.

SOURCE: Metallica Monday's Webcast > MP4

DVD QUALITY: Taper is off to one side of the stage, not a great spot
for close-ups. He chooses to get a lot of wide angle shots
so you can see a lot of the band members at the same time. Overall, good
video that captures the first show of 1997.

TAPER: Shawn R.
SOURCE: 1st gen > 2DVD
TIME: 130 minutes

CORRECT SHOW: Yes, James says Salt Lake City.

FLAWS: none

BAND PERFORMANCE: I have to chuckle at Metallica choosing to
jam on Number of the Beast and Mercyful Fate's Return of the
Vampire in a city that is well known for it's Mormon population.
Ahh Metallica, those jokesters. Anyway, show is great, performance
is also great to start the new year off.
